Admissions Process for Undergraduates

Finding the right college can be challenging, that is why at Chestnut Hill College, we make the admissions process easy.  With over 35 majors, 40 minors, 21 varsity sports teams (18 Division II), and numerous financial aid opportunities and merit-based scholarships, finding the right College may be a few clicks away.

2. Schedule a visit *Currently Virtual

No one knows our campus better than our students. Join a student-guided tour Mon-Fri, or attend a Saturday visit.

3. Fill out an application

You've learned what you need to know, and now its time to jump in.

*Middle College or Dual Enrolled High School Students should follow the Transfer Application Process

  • Apply now online with our brief application (we don't accept the Common App.). 
  • Send your SAT or ACT results (School codes- SAT: 2082 ACT: 3450) 
  • Request your official high school transcript to be sent from your guidance office.
  • Recommended: Essay/personal statement or letters of recommendation

4. Send in your official documents

CHC either accepts SAT or ACT.  An average ACT score of 20 and an average SAT of 500/math and 500/verbal is preferred. We also look for a GPA of 3.0 and up. 

You will need to submit your transcript from your high school, and your SAT or ACT scores. CHC accepts both the SAT and ACT. You may have your guidance counselor mail, fax or email your high school transcript to the contact below or send via Naviance. Send us your SAT or ACT scores today through College Board using our school code: 2082 for SAT and 3540 for ACT.

6. Discover scholarship opportunities and financial aid information

Chestnut Hill College offers generous financial merit scholarships and will help you think through your college costs. Contact us to see what is possible.  

7. Fill out your FAFSA forms

The sooner you begin the financial aid process the better.  Do not delay on putting your financial situation in order.  The FAFSA form is available Jan. 1, for students interested in the Fall semester.  The form must be completed by May 1.  Chestnut Hill College's FAFSA code is: 003245

8. Submit enrollment deposit

Upon your acceptance, you may enroll by submiting $500 for a residential deposit or $300 for a commuter deposit to reserve your spot as a member of the incoming Class.  Deposits are non-refundable after May 1.
