Admission Process for Accelerated Adult Degree Program

The admission process for Chestnut Hill College’s Accelerated Adult Degree is designed to make enrolling in college simple, and it only takes a few easy steps to get started.

Our program supports a wide array of adult students looking to earn a degree to advance their careers or satisfy a personal goal. We combine hybrid, online classes and face-to-face instruction to create a balanced, accessible education for adult students. Plus, we provide admissions and success counselors to help create individual plans and assist students on their journeys.

The admission process and its requirements for the Accelerated Adult Degree Program at CHC are outlined below. It starts with filling out an ACCELERATED ADULT application.

Send in your official documents

Submit an official high school transcript, diploma, or GED certificate. If transferring credits from another institution, request official transcript(s) from those institutions be forwarded directly to:

Upon our receipt of the transcript(s), you will receive a letter containing formal notice of transfer credits accepted and the requirements they fulfill in the specified degree program. It may be necessary to submit descriptions for courses taken at other institutions.

If applicable, an applicant should submit an educational benefits form or letter from their employer to the Student Financial Aid Office.

International Students

In addition to the above requirements, international students need to submit a complete set of academic credentials in English, including:

  • A TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based test) or 213 (computer-based test)
  • A financial statement indicating ability to pay
  • The I-20 needed to obtain an F-1 visa is sent to the student upon receipt of these materials.

All persons born outside the United States and currently living in the United States need to meet with the international student advisor when applying for admission.

Submit your FAFSA to apply for financial aid, additional grants, and scholarships. Don’t forget to add Chestnut Hill College to your School Selection list. Our FAFSA code is 003245.
