Catherine Gilstein, MBA, Ph.D.

In addition to teaching different business courses at the college level for the past eight years, I have extensive experience in retail banking (loans, investments, annuities), finance, operations, executing sales and marketing plans, and building strong relationships with colleagues, students, and staff at all levels.  I am committed to my students and earned a reputation for integrity and true concern.

I completed my BS in finance and management at Brooklyn College in New York, I earned an MBA in business administration from Delaware Valley University in Pennsylvania, and I earned my PhD from Capella University in business management and focused my research on women in STEM and their experiences in career development.

I have conducted sales and finance trainings and taught courses in business, finance, organizations in HR, macroeconomics, microeconomics and operations management at Chestnut Hill College, Bucks County Community College, and Delaware Valley University.  I teach LEAD 601 Leading and Managing People and LEAD 606 Budget and Resource Management in the Organizational Leadership Program.  I am also available as the advisor of the program, and for the LEAD 692 Capstone course.
