The Tichenor-Greer Scholars Program

The Tichenor-Greer Scholars Program is a program at Chestnut Hill College the recognizes talented prospective and current students interested in pursuing majors and careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) and who are from populations traditionally underrepresented in STEM Fields, such as students of color, low income, and/or first-generation college students.*  

The scholarship provides tuition to students who meet the following eligibility criteria:           

  • Have a Minimum 2.5 GPA      
  • Qualify for financial aid        
  • Are majoring in Science, Technology or Math         
  • Are engaged in community service and/or extracurricular activities        
  • Attend weekly academic counseling        
  • Have approval for course selection  

The scholarship will be awarded for one year and for up to four years providing the beneficiaries continue to meet he eligibility requirements.   * The preference is for African American, Native American or students with Latino ethnicity.
