Skull painting, orĀ calavera face painting, is a modern tradition associated with Dia de los Muertos, which honors deceased loved ones. It involves decorating the face with skull-like designs, often featuring bright colors and intricate patterns, not to be frightening, but to represent death as a celebration of life and the departed. Join La Voz Latina to paint your own skull at a special event on November 10th.
Accommodation requests and/or physical access needs related to a disability should be made prior to the event to martineza@chc.edu.
