Come support the work of CHC professor David Contosta, Ph.D., student Elizabeth Figiel, and various staff members, former faculty, and SSJs, for the screening of their documentary, “Philadelphia’s Urban Heat Islands: Climate Inequality, History, and Cool Solutions.”
The documentary explores how 1930s redlining policies in Philadelphia continue to shape today’s urban heat islands. It is a collaboration between the Department of Environmental Sciences, History, and IDHP students.
