Did you know…the world’s first electronic computer was built right here in Philadelphia, and that two Chestnut Hill College alumnae were programmers for it?

Join us on November 9 as we rededicate two classrooms in our CyberTech lab in their memory and legacy. SJH 49 will be named after Kay McNulty `42, and SJH 48 will be named for Francis Bilas `42 so that future generations never forget the impact of these two Griffins.

Chestnut Hill College is proud to own even a little piece of the great legacy that is the ENIAC, which just celebrated its 80th Anniversary earlier this year.

The rededication event is FREE and open to the public. It will include remarks from family members as well as College officials.

We invite everyone to join us to learn a little more about the work of these extraordinary women.

Accommodation requests and/or physical access needs related to a disability should be made prior to the event. Please contact wentzella@chc.edu with questions or to make a request.
