Welcome to Chestnut Hill College!
At CHC, we know that the transition to college is a big one, which is why we have a two part orientation experience for all new students. In July, you will attend a Griffin Day, where you will have the opportunity to take placement tests, get your ID picture taken and much, much more. In August, you will attend a three day orientation experience where you will learn about important information, meet other new students and get to know campus! Both experiences are important to your success as a new Griffin! Be sure to visit the New Student Guide on the MyCHC portal so that you can complete important documents and find about great opportunities.

- Parents/families are encouraged to attend your student's Griffin Day. There is a specific family schedule designed to help answer a range of questions.
- Families are invited to attend the beginning of New Student Orientation including Move-In, Convocation, and the Farewell BBQ. After the BBQ, families are asked to say their goodbyes.
I am a commuter, should I attend New Student Orientation?
- Yes! We strongly encourage all new commuter students to attend all orientation activities. There are some commuter specific activities that will help you learn more about commuter life at CHC including our Commuter Assistant program. Be sure to plan your transportation and work schedule around the activities.
