Internship Program Admissions

Applicants to the Chestnut Hill College Internship Consortium must be from an APA-accredited doctoral program in Clinical or Counseling Psychology. Candidates must have completed a minimum of four years of doctoral study prior to beginning internship and be in good academic standing as supported by the DCT verification. Applicants must have successfully passed their comprehensive examinations by the application deadline (November 1, 2023). Applicants must have successfully proposed their dissertation by the ranking deadline (February 9, 2024). The CHC Internship Consortium values and welcomes diversity in all its forms.  The internship program prefers applicants who have experience and a desire to provide culturally humble treatment to diverse populations and who show evidence of self-awareness of their own cultural experiences, values, and attitudes.

All applicants are required to submit a treatment summary or case report and a psychological assessment report as part of the AAPI.

Other Benefits (please describe): 15 days annual paid time off which is mutually agreeable to the site, to the Consortium, and to the intern. Paid time off may be used for vacation, sick, or personal leave. Interns are provided release time on Fridays throughout the year, therefore, interns are not permitted to use paid time off for Friday seminars.  Interns also receive 10 holidays.  Please see Consortium Manual to review Friday seminar release time and the holiday schedule for the 2024-2025 training year. Interns receive access to CHC library, gym facilities, dining hall, and free parking on campus.
