You can make a difference in the lives of current and future Griffins with the Alumni Ambassador Program!Alumni Ambassador Program logo

Purpose: a comprehensive effort to organize, support, and promote all types of volunteerism - redefining the culture of engagement for alumni of CHC.

This initiative harnesses and mobilizes the strength of the Chestnut Hill College family to make a difference in the lives of current and future Griffins. The Ambassador Program is completely customizable. You can do a little or a lot, and it doesn't matter where you live. As alumni of the College we share a common bond - a desire to advance the mission of the College and to support our students. Join us today!

 

What type of Ambassador will you be?

Admissions

Help promote CHC to prospective students and families.

*Attend College Fairs in your area on behalf of CHC
*Griffin Pride Postcards: messages to prospective students
*Volunteer at Open Houses and Saturday visits
*Make phone calls to prospective students and families

Become a leader of an Alumni Affinity Group or start your own!

Athletics Ambassadors

*Team Spirit and Pride - Attend and watch a practice and speak to the team before or after
*Pregame Meal - Join the team and staff during a pregame meal
*Community Service - Help bridge the gap between the College and the community. Alumni can ask for community service assistance and/or share resources
*Mentorship/Degree Mapping - Help prepare our student athletes to be more marketable after graduation. Partner student athletes with alumni who have the degree they are pursuing and work in the field they are interested in

Campus Engagement

Connect with current CHC students and pass on your knowledge.

*Mission and Ministry -Athletic Chaplaincy: Serve as a chaplain for an athletic team -Retreat Leadership -Guest Speaker at a Campus Ministry Retreat
*Student Life -Assist with student leadership training -Guest presenter at Orientation Leader training and facilitate a training -Volunteer at the food pantry
*Diversity -Guest speaker for diversity series workshops

Career

Mentor current CHC students, connect them with your peers and colleagues for graduate programs, career, and internship opportunities. Help students explore future paths and prepare for their post grad lives!

*Host students for a Job Shadow
*Internships or Graduate Programs
*Assist with mock or phone interviews

Communicate

Spread the good news of Chestnut Hill College!

*Actively share success stories and promote College events, activities, teams, groups, and departments through social media and word of mouth
*Help develop content for the College Magazine, Good Griffin News, and social media

Councils and Committees

We are always looking for dedicated alumni to participate in current board and committee activity.

*Alumni Board, Golf Committee, Gala Committee, Reunion Committee

Philanthropy

We need your voice to help shape the programs we offer and to grow philanthropic support for the future priorities of the College.

*Help foster a culture of giving in the Chestnut Hill College community.
*Provide financial support for College priorities such as the Griffin Fund, class gifts, and special fundraising initiatives and activities.
*Assist OIA with planning for initiatives such as Day of Giving, Giving Tuesday, and Reunion Class Gifts

 

As an Ambassador, you can attend an admissions event in your area, present to current students, attend a campus event, or help students prepare for their future careers! If you are interested in becoming an Ambassador, please fill out the Google form below. Once this form is received, you will be contacted by Alumni Relations with more information.
