A major in Pre-K-4 and Special Education Pre-K-8 integrates theory and practice about the physical, cognitive, social and educational development and learning of young children in grades Pre-K-4, as well as young students in grades Pre-K-8 identified with disabilities. Candidates are prepared to use content knowledge and other resources to design, implement and evaluate curriculum that promotes comprehensive developmental and learning outcomes for young children in a variety of classroom settings.
