Michael Griego is a Global Education Counselor at Chestnut Hill College where he manages activities related to the international admissions process and acts as an advocate for international student concerns. Prior to coming to Chestnut Hill College, he worked with secondary school students in Cairo, Egypt where he supported students as they applied to universities in the United States and Canada. While a student, Michael spent a semester abroad in Amman, Jordan. He is conversant in both formal and Egyptian Arabic and believes that global exposure is one of the most important factors of a holistic education. Michael holds a B.A. in Anthropology and Modern Middle East Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.
