The Sister Miriam Elizabeth McCoy Memorial Scholarship was established in 2017 to memorialize Sister Miriam Elizabeth McCoy and provide help to students who must work in order to afford a college education. The scholarship provides partial tuition replicating a student's earnings from one or more jobs to allow the recipient to more fully participate in studies and extracurricular activities while attending Chestnut Hill College.
The eligibility requirements are:
- Has a minimum 2.5 GPA 2.5
- Qualifies for financial aid
- Is working at one or more jobs
Preference is for a junior day or commuter student. The scholarship will continue to the beneficiary’s senior year providing the conditions of eligibility are met.
