GEM works in aiding both the local community as well as the global community to meet the constant challenges of an advancing, global society. As the youth representative, Zander says "I was able to work side by side with UNICEF and their Voices of Youth platform in reaching children from around the globe and creating conversation cross-culturally via the online platform.”  She is now a Research Analyst at the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
