Chestnut Hill College Celebrates Annual Carol Night

Philadelphia, PA – A long standing tradition at Chestnut Hill College, the 40th annual Carol Night will take place on Friday, December 2, at 7:30 p.m., in the Rotunda of St. Joseph Hall. This holiday celebration will feature performances by the College’s primary musical ensembles, which include: Jazz Ensemble, Hill Singers, String Ensemble and Wind Ensemble performing Christmas tunes old and new. The performance will end with a sing-along of Christmas carols and a visit from Santa Claus. A reception will follow the concert in the East Parlor, St. Joseph Hall. Children can also visit with Santa and tell him their special holiday wishes. Guests can also enjoy the College being fully decorated for the holidays. Students from each class spend hours decorating their designated portions of campus. Guests are encouraged to walk around and view their hard work. The event is free and open to the public. For more information contact David Samson, Ph.D., assistant professor of music, at samsond@chc.edu or 215.242.7164.
