The Marylou Dughi Sklar '56 Endowed Scholarship was created in 2014 to commemorate the life of Marylou Dughi Sklar, a graduate of the class of 1956. The scholarship provides partial tuition to a full-time student in the School of Undergraduate Studies who meets the following criteria:
- A minimum 3.0 GPA
- Is majoring in the Sciences or Math
- Is a female (preferred)
- Demonstrates a need for financial assistance
The scholarship is for one year for up to four years providing the beneficiary continues to meet the eligibility requirements. If no candidate meets the eligibility criteria, Chestnut Hill College will select a full-time undergraduate student with the greatest financial need.
