Head Coach Men’s Lacrosse


Under the direction of the Director of Athletics and Recreation, or his designee, the Head Coach Men’s Lacrosse is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the Men’s Lacrosse Program while managing any other duties, as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • Prior Head Coaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred.
  • Previous experience recruiting at the collegiate level and knowledge of financial aid packaging is also preferred.
  • Chestnut Hill College is an NCAA Division II institution and a member of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC). 
  • The Head Coach provides leadership, vision, and strategic planning for the Chestnut Hill College Men’s Lacrosse Team. The recruitment and retention of student-athletes is an essential responsibility of this position.
  • The Head Coach manages all aspects of the Men’s Lacrosse Program, which includes the management of recruiting, academic success, budgets, planning of constructive workouts, scheduling of opponents, fundraising, and maintaining program integrity with respect to CACC, NCAA and Chestnut Hill College rules and regulations.
  • The Head Coach must have a strong commitment to following all Chestnut Hill College Policies and Procedures as they relate to social conduct, athletic training, uniforms, equipment, finance reporting and compliance. 
  • The Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach is responsible for hiring, managing and developing a quality assistant coaching staff that will work within the guidelines of the CACC, NCAA and the Mission of Chestnut Hill College.
  • The Head Coach may be responsible for driving College vans at times and must have a valid driver’s license. 
  • Attendance is required at the annual athletic awards banquet, any CACC conference meetings, any all-star balloting or voting meetings, and all Chestnut Hill College Athletic Department Meetings.
  • The Head Coach is responsible for maintaining current CPR, AED, and First Aid Certifications.

The Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach is a full time position that will keep full time office hours on campus during the week, with weekend and evening hours to fulfill the responsibilities of the job, and to accommodate additional duties.

Currently the College is requiring COVID vaccines for all faculty, staff, and students.  There will be limited exemptions for medical or religious reasons.
