38TH ANNUAL GOLF INVITATIONAL HAS BEEN CANCELED FOR 2020
For 37 years, the Golf Invitational and Bridge Tournament has been a signature fundraising event for Chestnut Hill College. Every year, we look forward to a wonderful day on the course, filled with friendly competition in support of our talented and deserving student-athletes.
Like everyone, we have had to grapple with the realities of this difficult time. In order to ensure the safety of the entire Griffin family, Chestnut Hill College has decided to cancel our 38th Annual Golf Invitational. The health and safety of our Griffin Family is of the utmost importance. And while the College relies on the proceeds of the event to support scholarships for deserving students, the pandemic has created conditions that are not conducive to healthy, safe and financially feasible golf outing. We hope all our participants, partners, and sponsors will join us on next year.

“Being a student-athlete at Chestnut Hill College is truly something special. Throughout my first year as a Griffin, I experienced so much support from my teammates, coaches, trainers and the athletic department as a whole. Each and every student-athlete shows their support for one another, win or lose. I am proud to represent Chestnut Hill College every time I step onto the field.”

“To me, being a student-athlete is one of the highest honors you can have while attending a school. Being a student-athlete holds me to a higher standard and allows me to represent Chestnut Hill College both athletically and academically. I’m proud of that. Whether I am competing or focusing on my studies, I am always doing my best to uphold the prestigious honor it is to be a Griffin.”
