Chestnut Hill College is hosting its 36th Annual Golf Invitational on Monday, October 8 at the distinguished Whitemarsh Valley Country Club. As the most important fundraiser for our Athletic Department, this event provides a vital source of financial assistance for deserving student-athletes.
We are proud of our student-athletes, and for good reason. During the 2017-18 academic year:
- 78 were named to All-Academic Conference teams,
- 6 received the prestigious Arthur Ashe Award,
- 114 earned a 3.5 GPA or higher in the fall, with 10 achieving a 4.0,
- 121 earned a 3.5 GPA or higher in the spring, with 15 achieving a 4.0,
- 21 received the distinguished Yeardley Reynolds Love Unsung Hero Award, and
- 2,100 hours of service were performed.
On behalf of the Golf Committee, I invite you to join us for a fun, memorable event that supports these hardworking students – on and off the field. Whether you play golf, become a sponsor, or make a donation, your support will make a direct and immediate impact!
Don’t wait to register, spots are limited and fill quickly. If you have questions, need additional information or would like to make a Silent Auction donation, please contact Fran Vorksy at 215-248-7016 or email@example.com.
I look forward to seeing you on October 8!

"Being a student-athlete at Chestnut Hill College has taught me many lessons and values that I will carry with me into the real world. The hours put into studying and practice have shown me how hard work can help me achieve my goals. The leadership that is expected of you in the College community has truly taught me how to compose myself while facing adversity.”
