Chestnut Hill College is hosting its 35th Annual Golf Invitational on Monday, October 9 at the distinguished Whitemarsh Valley Country Club. As the most important fundraiser for our Athletic Department, this event provides a vital source of financial assistance for deserving student-athletes.
We are proud of our student-athletes, and for good reason. During the 2016-17 academic year:
- 54 were named to All-Academic Conference teams,
- 5 received the prestigious Arthur Ashe Award,
- 111 earned a 3.5 GPA or higher in the fall, with 10 achieving a 4.0,
- 119 earned a 3.5 GPA or higher in the spring, with 15 achieving a 4.0,
- 2 received the distinguished CACC Top XV Award, and
- 1,059 hours of service were performed.
On behalf of the Golf Committee, I invite you join us for a fun, memorable event that supports these hardworking students – on and off the field. Whether you play golf or bridge, become a sponsor or make a donation, your support will make a direct and immediate impact!
Don’t wait to register, spots are limited and fill quickly. If you have questions, need additional information or would like to make a Silent Auction donation, please contact Erin Wooley at 215-753-3692 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
I look forward to seeing you on October 9!

"The impact this scholarship has made on my life is tremendous. These scholarships provide amazing opportunities to young student-athletes like me to play the sports we love, get an education and learn many life lessons and responsibilities. Our sports teach character, trust and acceptance of failure and how to respond to it."
