Dr. Hodge instructs the Diversity in Human Services Course for Chestnut Hill College and has over 12 years experience in higher education administration and student service. Her student service experience began during her time working and teaching with the Federal Trio – Upward Bound program. This experience led her to become a gatekeeper and senior leader within higher education administration.

Over the course of her career, she has demonstrated a continued commitment to the advancement of marginalized and minoritized groups through the creation of targeted financial aid programs and fundraising initiatives designed to improve dwindling enrollment and developing strategic plans which stimulated proactive and responsive organizational change.

Dr. Hodge most recently served as the Director of Financial Aid Operations at Columbia University’s Teachers College, and has held previous positions in Enrollment Management and Student Affairs at the University of Maryland, the Johns Hopkins University (SAIS) and the George Washington University.

In addition to serving CHC’s students, she is also the owner of DEIverse Solutions, LLC – an independent DEI management firm -- that helps organizations and individuals develop and implement responsible DEI strategies. Dr. Hodge earned her Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership and Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration from Drexel University, and her Bachelor’s Degree from Lincoln University of Pennsylvania.
