Dr. Ana Marjanovic-Shane will discuss her experiences from her sabbatical year when, as a U.S. Fulbright Scholar, she taught and did research in Belgrade, Serbia. She conducted two important and intriguing research projects and will share information about them, the history of the preschool program at Serbia’s Department of Education and her experiences at the University of Belgrade. She also will describe her ongoing research project, “A comparative study of the higher education students’ academic rights and freedoms,” and other items of interest she was involved with between September 2016 and July 2017.
