With more than 800 hate groups registered in our country today, and with far too many tragic examples of the toxic and destructive emotions that propel their behavior and intentions, it’s time to resist these groups with humble, but courageous counter-movements. The Institute for Forgiveness and Reconciliation at Chestnut Hill College seeks to contribute to this counter movement by gathering folks intent on making a difference, for a series of four evenings, dedicated to “cultivating compassion” as a way of life and a spiritual practice that can and will transform our inner selves, our outer behavior, and the world we long to help heal.
