The monthly networking meetings of the Philadelphia College Prep Roundtable (www.collegepreproundtable.org) will be taking place on November 15 and December 13.

November’s event will include a panel of professionals that will be discussing various aspects of the scholarship process:

• Jody Markley, Director of the Chestnut Hill College Tichenor-Greer Scholars Program

Speaking to specialized scholarships and scholarship programs

• Natalie James, Director of Scholars Programs for the Office of the Vice Provost for Educational Equity, Penn State University

Speaking to specialized scholarships, scholarship programs, and institutional scholarships

• Derek James, Coordinator of Multicultural Programs, the College of Agricultural Sciences, Penn State University

Speaking to departmental scholarships and diversity scholarships

• Jill Barnhart, Interim Assistant Director of Financial Aid

Speaking to institutional scholarships and financing at private colleges

There will be time for participants to network and to make announcements on current events for their respective organizations.

The topic for December’s meeting will be campus safety.

Both meetings will be from 8:30 am – 11:00 am (topic/speakers/panels from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.) in the East Parlor.
