All Chestnut Hill College students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend the upcoming lecture, “Navigating Life with Super Bowl Champion, Rodney McLeod Jr..” McLeod is a current broadcaster, philanthropist, and motivational speaker, following a 12-year NFL career with the Philadelphia Eagles, St. Louis Rams, Indianapolis Colts, and Cleveland Browns. Undrafted out of college, McLeod ended his career with 18 interceptions, 11 forced fumbles, and five defensive touchdowns. He helped anchor an Eagles-defense that won the franchise’s first-ever Super Bowl in 2017-18.

Now, retired from the NFL, McLeod works for ESPN as an ACC football analyst and founded his own fashion brand, Back of House, while also founding and running Change Our Future, alongside his wife Erika. The nonprofit organization works to support youth development by removing barriers for underserved communities through education, advocacy, and awareness. In recognition of his efforts, McLeod won the NFLPA’s Alan Page Community Award in 2022.

McLeod’s goal, both on-and-off the field, has always been to make an impact. By inspiring the next generation of athletes, mentoring young leaders, and shaping conversations on a national stage, McLeod continues to lead with purpose, striving to be an image of possibility for years to come. Through his speaking engagements, McLeod takes listeners on a journey through his career, the bumps, the detours, and how, with all the struggles he faced, he still made it to the destination he always dreamed of. He discusses the importance of determination, community and faith – if you want something bad enough, your faith in yourself will get you there.
