Chestnut Hill College is happy to welcome Dr. Drew Weissman to campus to present the Fall 2022 Biomedical Distinguished Lecture. Dr. Weissman is the Roberts Family Professor in Vaccine Research at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. Winner of the Lasker Award (American Nobel) and named one of Time Magazine's "Heroes of the Year" in 2021, Dr. Weissman's groundbreaking work led to the development of the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines. He will present his talk, "Action Plan: What to do After 10 Billion Doses of Vaccine" on October 19th. All are welcome to attend this lecture, which is FREE and open to the public.
