Is Europe Back From the Brink?

Is Europe Back From the Brink?

October 24, 2018 - 2:00pm
Location:
East Parlor

Dr. Mark Pollack, Temple University a talk entitled “Is Europe Back From the Brink?”  Dr. Pollack is the author of dozens of books and articles on the European Union and he is a prestigious Jean Monnet Chair of European Union Studies. We enjoyed Dr. Pollack’s insights when he came to campus in the Spring 2017 semester to give a talk about the European Union’s five great crises of the 2000s.  Since then, sentiment about these crises has improved in much of Europe, and Dr. Pollack will revisit those five crises and ask whether the EU has managed to address, if not solve, each of them.

Please join us at 2:00 pm in the East Parlor on October 24 for Dr. Pollack’s fascinating insights on the European Union, the most powerful regional organization in world affairs.
