The Office of Diversity & Inclusion invites you to come out for the October Diversity Spotlight (Thursday, Oct. 18th, 12:30-1:30 in East Parlor).  For those who are “repeat offenders” (regular attendees), you know we have had two sessions covering the topic of the NFL kneeling and Nike Colin Kaepernick ad.  People have been questioning whether or not the purpose behind the cause has been lost.  Well, come out to see what the NFL Players Coalition and Campaign on Social Justice is doing.  In the same vein, let’s discuss the new movie THUG (The Hate You Give) that will be in theaters this Friday.  This movie focuses on police killings of unarmed Black men…the very topic that led to the NFL players’ protest last year.
