Presidential Candidate and Former U.S. Rep. Joe Sestak to Speak at Chestnut Hill College
On Sept. 23, presidential candidate and former U.S. Rep. Joe Sestak visits Chestnut Hill College to discuss innovative governance and how he would transform the Presidency as he campaigns for the highest office in the United States.
The event, “Get to Know Joe,” will feature a speech from the 2020 Democratic presidential candidate and three-star admiral about his campaign, “Accountability to America.” A question and answer session with candidate Sestak will follow. The event begins at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 23 in St. Joseph Hall. It is free and open to the public.
Sestak, a native of Delaware County, served in the U.S. Navy for 31 years and as a two-term congressman for Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District. At the time of his election, Sestak was the highest-ranking military official to serve in Congress. He announced his candidacy for president in June 2019.
“Get to Know Joe” takes place on Sept. 23 at Chestnut Hill College, 9601 Germantown Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19118.
This event is free and open to the public. For first-year students, it is a PASSPORT event.
