Dr. David Contosta will show a short documentary film called "History at The Crossroads," which he and other members of the Plymouth Meeting community have created. It chronicles the history and struggles of the local Abolitionist Movement and the closely connected activities of the Underground Railroad. The film also features artist Thomas Hovenden who later used Abolition Hall as a studio, where he painted the world famous "Last Moments of John Brown." Dr. Contosta will brief the audience on current efforts to save this precious piece of our nation's history.
