Co-sponsored by the Chestnut Hill College HTCIA Student Chapter and the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA), Delaware Valley chapter, this full day event features industry experts, recruiters and thought leaders.
This conference addresses issues associated with investigations, apprehensions and methodologies associated with the newest breed of high tech criminals. With the explosion in use of computers and the Internet, there is an uprising in criminal activities that utilize these powerful tools. From computer viruses to data processing fraud, there are many growing threats that expose our society to a new kind of criminal activity.
Also attending the event will be members from the Philadelphia Women and Cyber Security group. Women make up only 11% of the cyber security workforce and with such low representation, the Philadelphia Women Cyber Security group advocates for and assists women as they navigate through the cyber security industry.
Registration and Breakfast start at 8:00am. Opening remarks and speakers begin at 8:30am. A full agenda will be sent out in October, closer to the event date. In addition to presentations, there will be a number of vendors set up to display their products. Several industry recruiters will be present. The vendors sponsor a breakfast and lunch for the attendees. Admission is free.
