The Eileen T. Hanks '42 Scholarship Fund was established in 2018 to commemorate the life of Eileen T. Hanks.
The scholarship provides partial tuition to a full-time student (female preferred) in the School of Undergraduate Studies, who meets the following criteria:
- Has a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Demonstrates a need for financial aid
- Is unable to attend college without financial assistance
- Is majoring in a Health Sciences field
- Has serious career goals in the sciences and community services fields
The scholarship is for one year for up to four years providing the beneficiary continues to meet the eligibility requirements.
If no candidate meets the established criteria, Chestnut Hill College will select a full time, undergraduate student with the greatest financial need.
