Established in 2008, the Bernard Paul Horcher Memorial Endowed Scholarship was created to honor the legacy of Bernard Paul Horcher.  

The scholarship provides full tuition to a first year, female student in the School of Undergraduate Studies who meets the following criteria:

• Has a minimum 3.0 GPA 
• Is majoring in a Foreign Language and minoring in a History related field or is majoring in a History related field and minoring in a Foreign Language

The scholarship is for one year for up to four years providing the beneficiary continues to meet the eligibility criteria.
