Dr. LaVerne Adams, Transformational Leadership Strategist

Dr. LaVerne Adams is passionate about supporting professionals by helping them focus on fulfilling their dreams especially at a time when their lives have turned into a nightmare. She is the CEO of Total Life Consultancy, LLC that specializes in helping professionals find internal satisfaction while maximizing external opportunities. She feels most alive when she is serving others and is affectionately known as the “Transformer” by her clients.

LaVerne draws on 25 years of personal and professional experience working as an executive in the religious, non-profit, and business world. She has traveled the world inspiring thousands to live lives of purpose and is the author and contributor of over 20 books on personal, social, and global transformation. LaVerne is found on radio and television presenting material that motivates leaders to use a holistic approach to live more meaningful lives and is the innovator of the “Dream Life Blueprint”. Marie Bailey, MD 

Marie serves as a Founder and Chief Executive Officer for Evexian, LLC, a startup aimed to bring premium medical care to the working class. She is responsible for investor relations, sales and account management, and clinical contracting. Marie is a physician with board certification in Gastroenterology who has practiced for the past 14 years in Philadelphia. She was formerly a partner of Hillmont GI. She has treated many thousands of patients with a wide variety of gastrointestinal and hepatological issues in office, surgical center, and hospital settings in the Philadelphia region over the course of her medical career.

Marie graduated Summa cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry at Chestnut Hill College.  She earned a Doctorate in Medicine at The Medical College of Pennsylvania and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at the Milton S Hershey Medical Center, Internal Medicine Residency at MCP-Hahnemann University, and Gastroenterology Fellowship at MCP-Hahnemann University. She is currently a member of the Academic Committee to the Board of Directors at Chestnut Hill College and belongs to the Alliance of Women Entrepreneurs and the Vynamic Healthcare Roundtable. Marie resides in the Springhouse area with her husband and two children, ages 15 and 10.  She enjoys spending time with her family, travel, and leisure reading.

Kent C. Griswold, Ph.D., M.B.A.

Kent C. Griswold is the Founder and Producer of BizzShow, a television show which will compete with Shark Tank, featuring investors and companies in the first season exclusively from the Greater Delaware Valley. Most recently President and CEO of GRISWOLD SPECIAL CARE, the world’s oldest multi-national non-medical home care company with over 10,000 professional caregivers working through 100+ offices in the US, South Korea and Mexico, he concurrently served as President of Financial Health Services, Inc. 

Dr. Griswold serves on the Board of Chestnut Hill College and chairs the Finance Committee.  He is also on the boards of Chosen 300, Xverity, and Rentwell.  He is a past Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and has chaired the chapter’s Patient & Family Services Committee and co-chaired the Advocacy Committee.  He has also co-chaired the National Chairman’s Advisory Council (CAC), and been co-chair of the Long Term Care Committee.  In addition, has been on the boards of the Special Care Foundation, the ALS Association and the AIDS Victims Fund among others.  An active member of PAC (Presidents Advisory Council), he has been recognized by the Philadelphia Business Journal as one of “Forty Under Forty” and by Business Philadelphia as one of “100 People to Watch.”  He started his first venture, a summer day camp, at the age of 14.

A graduate of Harvard University, the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and Kennedy-Western University, Dr. Griswold has also studied in Kenya, England and Sweden and has worked in Hong Kong and Australia where he was a permanent resident.  He has published two novels and completed his Ph.D. in Health Administration with a dissertation entitled: The Evolving Needs for Home Care Services within an Aging Population of those Living with Multiple Sclerosis.

Jack Gulati

Immigrating to the United States from India at the age of 15, Jack D. Gulati knew he would follow in his father and grandfather’s footsteps. From a young age, he had ambitions to be become an entrepreneur, purchasing his first business at the age of 26.

For fifty years, Mr. Gulati has been a serial entrepreneur. Currently he owns two ECHL hockey teams; the Reading Royals (PA) and the Allen Americans (TX). Throughout his career, Mr. Gulati has created, bought or sold over forty companies worldwide. At all times, he has kept both business and family in focus, learning to balance both for optimal success. Author of the book Serial Entrepreneur, Mr. Gulati hopes to share his knowledge and expertise with others.

Over the years, Mr. Gulati has served in numerous civic and professional advisory positions. He was appointed to the Small Business Advisory Committee of the FCC by President George H.W. Bush. He was also a delegate to the White House Conferences on Small Businesses, appointed by Presidents Reagan and Clinton. In addition, he has served as chairman of the National Federation of Independent Businesses of Pennsylvania and as Chairman of the Board of Township Supervisors in Upper Merion Townships, Pennsylvania. Most recently, he served on the Chestnut Hill College Board of Directors, where he was also honored with an Honorary Doctor of Laws degree.

A graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in mathematics, Mr. Gulati is also a two time winner of the Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Central Pennsylvania.

Juliana M. Mosley, Ph.D.

Juliana M. Mosley has more than 17 years of experience in education.  She is currently the new College Officer for Diversity & Inclusion at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, and previously held several positions in higher education as a Vice President for Student Affairs at Lincoln University, Edward Waters College, Marygrove College, and Philander Smith College; the Director of Multicultural Affairs at John Carroll University; the Executive Assistant to the President at Kentucky State University; and High School Business Teacher in Houston Independent School District.   

Juliana also serves as a consultant, having presented at more than 40 regional or national conferences and institutions; providing training and development workshops in leadership transition, strategic planning, student development, and diversity (race, gender/sexual orientation, and religion).   Juliana earned a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and M.A. in Curriculum and Teacher Leadership from Miami University of Ohio, and B.S. in Business Education from Ball State University.
