Chestnut Hill College’s Undergraduate Admissions Office is pleased to host campus visits geared towards groups of college-bound students. Group visits are a great way for a large volume of students to visit the campus at once.
Due to the high number of visitors to the Chestnut Hill College campus, groups planning to visit should follow these guidelines:
- Reservations should be made at least 4 weeks in advance.
- Students should be in grades 9-12.
- Groups must provide at least one chaperone for every 15 students visiting the campus.
- Maximum group size is 45 students plus chaperones.
The Undergraduate Admissions Office can accommodate group visits once a day on Monday and Friday. Group visits are not offered on weekend. Our group visit offers this agenda:
- Chestnut Hill College Presentation
Our thirty minute presentation is led by one of our experienced Undergraduate Admissions Counselors. Your group will learn about the college’s admissions criteria, majors offered, financial aid, and campus life.
- Walking Tour of Campus
Led by a Chestnut Hill College student ambassador, the 45 minute walking tour of campus takes visitors in and through some of the most popular locations on campus, including, Logue Library, a Martino Hall classroom, Fontbonne Hall (First- Year) dormitory, and the Jack and Rosemary Murphy Gulati Complex. The tour requires extensive walking, so students are encouraged to dress comfortably.
- Eating Lunch on Campus
We are able to make accommodations for groups of 25 students or less to purchase lunch in the Fournier Dining Hall. For groups with more than 25 students, Chestnut Hill College asks each group to prepare bagged lunches for each of the students attending the group visit. We will provide a space on campus to enjoy your lunch.
If anyone in your party will need disability accommodations, please contact our Undergraduate Admissions Office directly, at 215.248.7001. Thank you for your interest in touring Chestnut Hill College, and we look forward to see your Group on Campus!
