Official sealed transcripts of all previous college and university study (Applicants must have graduated, or anticipate graduating, from an accredited institution with a four-year bachelor's degree; waived for applicants whose last college was CHC.)
Two letters of recommendation from academic or supervisory sources. Recent Graduates are expected to submit at least one academic recommendation; professional sources must be supervisory roles; no references from family or friends.
A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4 or higher is generally required for acceptance to education programs (with the exceptions of Educational Studies and Montessori programs). Questions about these requirements should be directed to GradAdmissions@chc.edu.
International Students must also submit acceptable TOEFL or IELTS or Advanced-Level ELS Program Certificate. WES or ECE transcript evaluations are required if transcripts are not in English.
Note: International Students are not eligible for State Certifications.
Professional Goals Essay - The Goals Essay should be between 400-600 words describing your academic and professional goals, your motivation to return to graduate school, and how you hope to contribute to your chosen program or field upon earning a Master's degree. Please proofread, as the essay will be graded for both content and grammar as a part of the admissions process.
After all requirements are received, qualified applicants will be contacted by email to schedule an interview with the Department Adviser.
