Official sealed transcripts of all previous college and university study (Applicants must have graduated, or anticipate graduating, from an accredited institution with a four-year bachelor's degree; waived for applicants whose last college was CHC.)
Two letters of recommendation from academic or professional source. Use the CHC forms provided in application. Recent graduates are expected to submit at least one academic recommendation; professional sources should be in supervisory roles; no references from family or friends.
On-Site Writing Sample OR Standardized Test Score – Your choice between: On-Site Writing Sample (Applicants will be given a program-related article and respond to a choice of questions about the article.) or Standardized Test Score (We accept scores from the GRE (General Record Examination) - CHC School Code 2082; OR MAT (Miller Analogies Test) - CHC School Code 1609.

After all requirements are received, qualified applicants will be contacted by email to schedule a department interview with the Faculty Advisor, Amy Antrim, M.Ed.
Evaluation of Criteria
Upon submission of all criteria, the Director of Graduate Admissions prepares and reviews the file. The applicant's file is reviewed by the Department Advisor, the Graduate Dean and, if applicable, the Director of Global Education. The applicant is notified of the decision regarding acceptance or non-acceptance. Decisions are based on the strength of required criteria; correlation of applicant goals with program goals; ability to contribute to a collaborative learning environment as demonstrated throughout the admissions process. This includes appropriate and professional verbal and written correspondence.
Chestnut Hill College has a rolling admissions policy for graduate applicants. In order to allow time for the admissions review prior to registration, application requirements should be received by the following dates:
Fall Term - Currently accepting applications, rolling admission decisions
Spring Term - November 1
Summer Term - April 1
Extensions are available by contacting the Graduate Admissions staff.
