Digital Forensics Certificate

Digital Forensics Certificate

Chestnut Hill College’s Accelerated Adult Degree Program is designed specifically for the adult learner. The prevalent use of computers and other electronic devices makes them relevant sources of evidence in both civil and criminal legal actions. Understanding data storage technology and proper legal procedures is critical to the successful use of digital evidence in court. The electronically stored information is useful in criminal prosecution, intelligence gathering, corporate investigation, regulatory matters, and human resource actions.

This certificate program teaches students to properly collect digital evidence, acquire and verify data collected, analyze data for relevant artifacts, and report findings. The program also covers cyber crimes and laws regarding expert witness testimony, data collection, and expert reports in both criminal and civil legal systems.

For information about our graduation rates, the median debt of students who complete the program, and other important information, please view the Gainful Employment Disclosure Statement for this certificate.
