- Federally administered program
- Awards grants to undergraduate students on the basis of exceptional need
- Undergraduate students carrying at least three credits can be considered for eligibility
- Administered by Chestnut Hill College
- Awarded to undergraduate students demonstrating exceptional need
- Priority given to full-time Federal Pell Grant recipients who apply on time
- Each state has its own grant program, award levels and eligibility criteria
- Generally awarded on the basis of need
- Usually limited to students attending full-time
