Process for Transferring to CHC

Use the following Admissions Checklist to guide you through the application and enrollment process. Middle College Students or Dual Enrolled High School students should also fill out the Transfer Application. Contact Danny Luu (LuuD@chc.edu) with any questions.

Prospective transfers can follow a simple five-step process:

  • Fill out an application with us today
  • Submit a transcript & other supporting documents
    • All applicants must submit a college transcript from EACH institution where previously enrolled (even if no transferrable credits were earned).
    • All applicants transferring before earning an Associate’s degree must submit high school transcript prior to enrollment. ***This additional material will not hinder the admission decision.
    • All applicants who have fewer than 12 completed college credits must submit high school transcript as a supporting document.
  • Complete your FAFSA
    • We encourage you to complete your FAFSA soon after the form becomes available in December of each year. Pennsylvania residents must complete the FAFSA by the May 1st deadline in order to be eligible for PHEAA state grants. Chestnut Hill College's FAFSA code is 003245.
  • Submit your enrollment deposit
    • Upon acceptance to Chestnut Hill College, and after all financial aid and enrollment questions have been satisfied. Students must reserve their seat for the upcoming semester by submitting an enrollment deposit.
      • For Fall semestersResidents- $500 and Commuters- $300.
      • For Spring semestersResidents- $250 and Commuters- $150.
      • All enrollment deposits are non-refundable after May 1st for fall semesters and after December 1st for spring semesters.
  • Register and attend a New Student Orientation
