Only nine days away, Reunion of the Stars 2010 is in full preparation mode to make your return home to CHC the most wonderful ever.

Online registrations closed at midnight, while postmarked registrations will continue to be entered into the queue. For the latest of last-minute, post-deadline registrations to the Annual Reunion Luncheon and/or Friday and Saturday evening festivities, contact the Alumni Office or call 215.753.3666 through Friday, May 28.

Looking to book a room? So sorry to report it's no longer possible. We're thrilled to announce that Reunion of the Stars 2010 is a full house, but we can suggest several area hotels for those requiring overnight accommodations.

Our staff, alumni volunteers, and student team look forward to seeing you on June 4-5-6.

Golden Griffins, Valet Parking At Your Service
Alumnae from classes up to and including the Class of 1960 will be greeted at SugarLoaf Hill for the Golden Griffins Mass & Brunch by alumni volunteers and student team members. In addition, valet parking has now been added to the June 6 event, moved this year from the Rotunda and West Dining Room to The Mansion at SugarLoaf Hill. Look for directional signs as you enter from Germantown Avenue. A police officer will guide departures: non-Golden Griffins following the 10 a.m. Mass, and Goldens at the conclusion of the 11 a.m. Brunch.

Final Casting Call
Today's the deadline to nominate yourself or suggest candidates for Class President-Treasurer and Class Correspondent under the revised procedure and expectations announced in "ReunionNews" #4.

If you cannot attend your class meeting but want a voice in the outcome, participate now by contacting either your class president or the Alumni Office.

Remembering Classmates No Longer With Us

Saturday morning's Annual Memorial Mass is the most solemn occasion of the weekend but is often considered the most glorious. All reunion-year alumnae are encouraged to join the liturgy beginning at 10:30 in the Main Chapel, during which deceased classmates will be remembered in prayer, and closing with the singing of the beloved "College Hymn to Our Lady, Salve Mater Salvatoris."

Who Knew?
Our invitation to suggest karaoke selections for Friday's CHC Idol Night on the Hill produced a playlist dominated by, wait, "Disco Queen" Donna Summer! Want to be sure you hear, er, sing your favorites? Send your top three to hannanj@chc.edu by May 28.

You Can Make It Happen
You still have time to make a charitable gift to Chestnut Hill College in honor of your reunion year. Will your class be counted among the top five for percent participation when the books close on June 30? You can make it happen by making your gift today, either online or by mail, to the Griffin Fund for annual operations, endowment, or any item you want to support.

A reminder that this is a departure from past practice in that any gift made to the College for any purpose during your reunion year is now counted as a reunion gift. All gifts made by you and your classmates will be counted in the class percentage totals presented in the "Donor Report" next fall.
