College to Hold 26th Annual Golf Invitational to Benefit Student Programs
Invitational Features $1,000,000 Hole-in-One Contest

Chestnut Hill College will hold its 26th Annual Golf Invitational on Monday, October 13, 2008 at the Whitemarsh Valley Country Club in Lafayette Hill, Pa. Over the last 25 years, the Golf Invitational has raised more than $700,000 for the College and its student programs.
Golfers will start the day with registration and brunch at 10 a.m., and a shotgun start at 11:30 a.m. The outing will conclude with cocktails and dinner at 5:00 p.m. and the presentation of prizes. Special activities throughout the day include a $5,000 putting challenge, raffles, skill awards, and a $1,000,000 hole-in-one contest. Presenting sponsors for this year’s invitational are Chesapeake Bay Golf Club in North East and Rising Sun, Maryland; Thomas Wynne Apartments, Wynnewood, Pa; and Jericho Manor Apartments in Abington, Pa.
In addition, the College will also be holding a raffle, with winners announced at the Golf Invitational. Prizes include a trip to the Cal-Neva Resort and Spa in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, and other cash prizes. Tickets for the raffle are $20 and are available for sale through October 8th. Registration is $250 per player and sponsorship opportunities are available.
