Assistant Professor of Psychology
Chestnut Hill College, an inclusive liberal arts college in the Catholic tradition, seeks to hire a full-time, non-tenure track Assistant Professor. The position is a 12-month appointment and is scheduled to begin January 2015.
The candidate will teach courses and advise students in the Child and Adolescent concentration of the Master’s Clinical and Counseling Program. Additional course assignments will be selected from the following, depending on the candidate’s experience and expertise: play therapy; research, development across the life span, and assessment and treatment of children and adolescents.
We are seeking candidates with a strong identification with a contemporary psychodynamic (object relations) and with a systemic perspective along with relevant training and experience within these models.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, must be licensed or license-eligible in Pennsylvania, must have clinical experience, and must maintain involvement in clinical practice or consultation.
