Chestnut Hill College’s 82nd Commencement was featured on the 6 p.m. broadcasts of CBS-3 Eyewitness News in Philadelphia on May 9, 2009 and the 6 a.m. broadcast the following day.
Nancy Dachille, director of career services at Chestnut Hill, was quoted in a May 15, 2009 article in a Philadelphia Business Journal article about recruiting college graduates in the Philadelphia area.
Chestnut Hill College Alumna featured in Series in The Evening Bulletin
Kay Mauchly Antonelli, an alumna of Chestnut Hill College, is featured in two articles in the series, "The Women of ENIAC" written by Rocco Martino for The Evening Bulletin.

Philadelphia Daily News columnist Ronnie Polaneczky wrote an article, "Saving Teen Drivers in Lacey’s Name" in the May 5, 2009 edition of The Philadelphia Daily News. Lacey Gallagher was a high school student who died in a prom night car crash two years ago. Lacey had been recruited to come to Chestnut Hill College to play soccer that fall.
Phi Beta Lambda Students Receive Recognition in their Hometown Newspapers
Chestnut Hill College students who won big at the Phi Beta Lambda leadership conference received recognition in their hometown papers, including The Hammonton News, The Rocket Courier, The Bucks County Courier Times, The New Age Examiner, and The Express.
Ted Taylor, adjunct professor of communications at the College, was featured in an article in The Glenside News for founding The Glenside Youth Athletic Club fifty years ago. Ted Taylor was also featured in a Glenside News story for a review of his new publication, "The Philadelphia Athletics by the Numbers, Let's give Skeeter #2"

Roxborough Review writes up Senior Nick DeMalto’s Baseball Career, New Athletic Director Appointment
The Roxborough Review wrote a story about graduate Nick DeMalto and his accomplishments while on Chestnut Hill College’s Baseball Team in the May 13, 2009 edition of the paper. The Review also published an announcement about Chestnut Hill College’s new athletic director, Lynn Tubman. Lynn Tubman was also interviewed for a story about her new appointment in the Chestnut Hill Local.
Faculty Spotlight: Ted Taylor and the Philadelphia A's
Ted Taylor, adjunct professor of communications at Chestnut Hill College has taken his passion for baseball and turned it into a new publication, "The Philadelphia Athletics by the Numbers, Let's give Skeeter #2", which is available for sale at Barnes and Noble, Amazon, and other retailers. Taylor has been involved in baseball for the past 30 years in many different ways- he is co-founder of the Philadelphia Athletics Historical Society, and has served as a sports columnist at the Philadelphia Daily News and the Sports Collectors Digest. He was also the founding president of the Glenside Boys Athletic Club, served as a commissioner of the Keystone State Football League, was the first president of the Eastern Pennsylvania Sports Collectors Club. He is currently planning a second publication about the Philadelphia A’s that will go into more detail about players, statistics, and the history of the team. He has taught at Chestnut Hill College for the past 10 years.

An illustration of Chestnut Hill College created for the College Master Plan by artist Anna Loseva has been included in a new book, "Amazing Rendering" that includes artist renderings from around the world. The book will be published in Germany.
