Event Spotlight:
2nd Annual Quidditch on the Hill

Although their feet never left the ground, Team Ravenclaw once again dominated the Quidditch pitch at the 2nd Annual Quidditch on the Hill tournament held at the College on October 2, 2009. The winner of last year’s Quidditch match, Team Ravenclaw brought their broom flying and snitch-catching skills to the intramural tournament as they soared toward victory over the seven other College teams who participated in an afternoon of Harry Potter magic and fun. The College held their first Quidditch on the Hill tournament last fall prior to making their first appearance in late October at the Intercollegiate Quidditch World Cup held at Middlebury College, Vt. In their first year of intercollegiate competition, Chestnut Hill took third place, defeating Princeton University, Louisiana State University, Emerson College, and Ives Pond before falling to Vassar College in tournament play. On October 25, Chestnut Hill College will return to Middlebury College to defend their title at the 3rd Annual Intercollegiate Quidditch World Cup.
