Garry Flower graduated from Kings College with a B.A. in Business, and earned his MBA in Finance at LaSalle University. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1984.

Garry began his career in 1973 as a staff auditor for CPAs Parente Randolph in Wilkes Barre, and in 1977 moved back to Philadelphia working for Pennwalt Corporation as an internal auditor-supervisor. He then worked for SKF Industries in various roles, including Controller at one of their local plants, after which he became Controller for Interspec—a startup company in the ultrasound imaging industry. While he was there, the company was taken public and was bought out by Siemens in 1992.

During that same time, Garry also operated an Accounting firm with his father—one he still owns and operates. His experience also includes ownership of a Dairy Queen franchise and a used book store.

In 2004, Garry took a full-time professor role at Delaware Valley University, achieving Associate Professorship in the Department of Business there, where he also received the Teacher of the Year award in 2006. He remained Department Chair there until 2009 when he transitioned to Chestnut Hill College in 2010 where he is currently an Associate Professor.
