Peter Dobson, Ph.D., dinosaur paleontologist at the University of Pennsylvania presents the lecture, “Reflections on Fossils and Faith” on Monday, April 2, at 7 p.m. at the Commonwealth Chateau, SugarLoaf campus. In his lecture, Dobson will discuss the two pillars in his life: his love for dinosaurs and his faith in God and how these two topics are connected.   Chestnut Hill College will sponsor a panel discussion, “Walking Gently on the Earth: A Conversation about Ecology and Spirituality” on Thursday, April 12 at 7 p.m. in the East Parlor, St. Joseph Hall. The panel is sponsored by the holistic spirituality program in the School of Graduate Studies.

In honor of Earth Day, the discussion will allow attendees to take part in a conversation about all things environmental, ecological, spiritual and sustainable.
The panel will consist of Mary Elizabeth Clark, SSJ, director of the Sisters of Saint Joseph Earth Center, Dr. Robert Meyer, professor of biology and Dr. Marie Conn, chair of the department of religious studies, philosophy, and the graduate program in holistic spirituality at the College.
