Institute for Religion and Science Presents: Mark Wallace "Where the Great Heron Feeds: Christianity, Animism, and the Re-Enchantment of the World"

February 16, 2016 - 7:00pm to 9:00pm
Location:
Commonwealth Chateau, Sugarloaf

Announcing its presence in silent flight, the Great Blue Heron teaches us that all of creation is sacred. Using biblical and historical sources, Dr. Wallace will illustrate how Christianity sees all of nature are fille with God's presence and suggests how the vision of a shared and verdant Earth saturated with Divine Presence can morally and spiritually empower responses to the crises of global warming and unsustainable living that are truly transformative.
