2009 Women’s Volleyball Wrap-Up
Philadelphia, PA – (12/8/2009) – The 2009 women’s volleyball season was highlighted by their first National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II and Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) win. Chestnut Hill College recorded a 3-2 (22-25, 25-22, 22-25, 25-17, 15-11) victory over Concordia College on Saturday, October 31. Griffins Close Season with Cougars
Philadelphia, PA – (11/7/2009) – In their final match of the season, the Chestnut Hill College women’s volleyball team hosted Caldwell College in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) competition. The Cougars took the upper hand by winning the opening game 25-14. The Griffins led through the start of game two, but the Cougars came back for a 25-19 win before completing the 3-0 (25-14, 25-19, 25-11) victory with a decisive 25-11 win in the third game. More...
