Chestnut Hill College Tabs Graham As Next Women’s Lacrosse Coach
Philadelphia, PA – (10/8/2009) – Director of Athletics and Recreation, Lynn Tubman, announced the selection of Lesley Graham as the next head coach for the women’s lacrosse program. A former Division I assistant coach at Canisius College, Graham also carries experience from high levels of competition as a student-athlete at Ithaca College. Graham holds a master’s degree in sports administration from Canisius College and a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in history from Ithaca College. More...
Glass Sisters Selected to JSR Women’s Lacrosse All-America Team
Philadelphia, PA – (7/23/09) – Junior sisters, Carley and Maryanne Glass (Baltimore, Md.) of the Chestnut Hill College women’s lacrosse team earned recognition on the Jewish Sports Review Women’s All-America Team. In 2009, the Glasses earned all-conference status while helping the Griffins to a 9-8 overall record and a 6-4 finish in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC). More...
Philadelphia Inquirer Recognizes Donovan as One of Top Local Student-Athletes
Philadelphia, PA - (July 22, 2009) – Senior attacker Katie Donovan (Conshohocken, Pa.), was chosen by sports information offices of the 28 Philadelphia area institutions and the Philadelphia Inquirer as one of 13 student-athletes placed on the Academic All-Area Women’s Lacrosse Team. Donovan was a psychology major at Chestnut Hill College; she graduated with a 3.6 G.P.A. and a bachelor’s of science this May. University of Pennsylvania junior, Emma Spiro was named the 2009 Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Women’s Lacrosse Performer of the Year. More...
